What better way to start hacking healthcare than with new students and a blank slate?
Today we started with very rough ideation in the form of “What is the problem you want to address.”
We took a page from “Why Greatness Cannot be Planned: The Myth of the Objective” and had the students “evolve” their ideas by passing an index card constantly to their right four times. We then read aloud the evolution of the ideas and split up into teams for next week.
Areas of interest were in tonicforhealth type solutions for patient data entry, end of life care, painless office visits, and teaching CPR.
I expect a pivot next week from most of the teams.
